Pricing questions, answered
Is $490 per user, per tenant, or per what?
The licence covers one installation and up to two Microsoft 365 tenants — not seat counts. Scan those tenants with as many admins looking at the results as you like. Keys are not locked to a machine; if you rebuild or move the server, your key still works.
I'm a consultant. Can I audit all my clients from one installation?
No — an installation covers up to two Microsoft 365 tenants. For client work you run one installation per client, which is also what keeps each client's findings, history and evidence separate from the rest. Partner pricing above is built for exactly that.
We have two tenants after an acquisition. Do we need two licences?
No. One licence covers one installation auditing up to two tenants, so a two-tenant organisation is a single $490 licence.
Is the licence tied to a specific server?
No. Keys are not machine-locked — if you rebuild or move the server, your key still works. Staying within the one-installation scope is something you agree to, not something the software polices.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 Copilot or SharePoint Advanced Management licence?
No. TRACER365 needs neither — that is a deliberate difference from Microsoft's native Data Access Governance reports, which sit behind the SharePoint Advanced Management add-on or a Copilot licence. See the licence-wall guide.
What are the trial terms?
30 days, free, no registration. The trial shows up to 100 findings rows. When it expires, the app drops to a read-only view of what it already found — it does not delete your data.
Is there a monthly plan?
No — one annual subscription, one price. It keeps the product simple to buy and simple to budget.
Does my audit data go to your servers?
No. TRACER365 runs locally in your environment and stores findings locally. There is no vendor cloud in the loop.
Is there a bigger "enterprise" tier?
Not today. A Pro/Compliance tier with deeper compliance evidence is on the roadmap — it is not sold at launch, and we don't sell futures.
